LG V30 gets shown off through leaked cases

The Samsung Galaxy Note8 isn’t the only phone getting early previews through leaked cases. Its home ground rival LG is also getting the same treatment through an online retailer that has started selling cases for the yet to be launched LG V30.

Looking at the transparent case options, we can see LG’s new dual-camera module which looks similar to the iPhone 7 Plus, OnePlus 5 and OPPO R11. There’s also a separate module to house the flash and possibly its infrared auto focus laser.

The fingerprint sensor is mounted right in the middle which is easier to access than Samsung’s current flagships. It is worth noting that the design of the rear matches the earlier LG V30 leak by @OnLeaks and @MySmartPrice.

The LG V30 will launch on 31 August and it will be packing better hardware than its current LG G6. It is expected to run on a Snapdragon 835 processor with at least 4GB of RAM and it could also feature an OLED screen which should make it more power efficient for an always-on display.

In case you missed it, last year’s LG V20 is finally on sale in Malaysia. Priced at RM1,999, it comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage. You can learn more about it here.
