If your iPhone or iPad is currently enrolled for iOS 11 Public Beta, it’s time for another software update. The latest iOS 11 Public Beta 2 is now available and you should be able to install it on your device.
To recap, the new iOS 11 brings tonnes of new features including a revamped control centre, a redesigned AppStore and more. For those using an iPad Pro, you’ll appreciate the additional features which include a desktop-like Dock, App Switcher and a new keyboard which makes multi-tasking so much easier.
If you’ve been playing around with iOS 11, you should notice a new screen recording feature that can be triggered from the new control centre. According to BGR, the latest beta update brings a new option for live broadcast. It doesn’t do much right now as it saves your entire session normally as a local video file.
Perhaps this would require a supported 3rd party app and we should be seeing more in the final iOS 11 release. Having to broadcast an in-phone session can be useful for gaming or while troubleshooting app issues remotely.
If you’re interested in trying out iOS 11, please be warned that this is currently available in Beta. For those who have a secondary device and don’t mind exploring, you can learn how to get iOS 11 Public Beta on your iPhone and iPad here.
