UPDATE: Nokia 3 is now available on Digi’s online store. It is offered from as low as RM19 on Digi Postpaid 138 contract.
The latest Nokia smartphones are now available on Digi. These Android-powered devices were launched in Malaysia recently, offering premium feeling phones and stock-Android experience for under RM1,000. On top of that, Digi is also offering RM100 off when you trade-in a phone and sign up for a new postpaid plan.
The Nokia 3 that’s priced at RM599 is their entry-level offering. On Digi, the Nokia 3 can be yours from as low as RM199 with a 12-month Digi Postpaid 78 contract plus trade-in (RM100 off). To recap, the Nokia has a 5″ HD 720p display and it is powered by a MediaTek 6737 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage.
It comes with 8MP auto-focus cameras for both front and back. Juicing up the device is a 2,630mAh battery that charges via microUSB. Despite being an entry-level phone, it also comes with NFC, USB OTG, accelerometer and gyroscope.
For something more premium, the Nokia 6 which retails for RM999 is offered as low as RM479 on a 12-month contract on Digi Postpaid 78 with trade-in. It gets a higher resolution 5.5″ Full HD display and it runs on a Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. It also gets a pair of speakers plus a Smart Amp that’s also Dolby Atmos certified.
The rear gets a 16MP f/2.0 front camera while selfies handled by its 8MP f/2.0 autofocus shooter. The front gets a 2.5D glass for a premium look and the home button also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. Underneath its 6,000 series aluminium body lies a 3,000mAh battery that also charges via microUSB.
The Nokia 3 will be available starting tomorrow, 6 July while the Nokia 6 will be available end of this month. If you’re interested, you can get the Nokia devices at their 200 Digi Stores nationwide as well as their Digi online store.
