The LG G6 flagship smartphone is now RM400 off in Malaysia

The LG G6 is probably one of the most underrated flagship smartphones for 2017. It has a 5.7″ Quad HD+ display with HDR10 that feels like a smaller phone thanks to its 18:9 display aspect ratio. If you’ve been eyeing for a Samsung Galaxy S8 alternative without a curved screen, the LG G6 is now more affordable in Malaysia.

Officially announced in Malaysia in late April, the LG G6 was originally priced at RM2,999. After HTC reduced its HTC U Ultra pricing to RM2,599, it appears that LG is also following the same footsteps by revising the LG G6 pricing down to RM2,599.

To recap, the LG G6 gets a Snapdragon 821 processor with 4GB of RAM and has 64GB of onboard storage that’s expandable via microSD. For photo taking, it gets a dual-camera setup which works differently from the rest. The primary 13MP shooter takes wide-angle shots while the other 13MP unit is used for normal photos. On top of that, the LG G6 is designed to be tough against the elements. Not only it has IP68 dust and water resistance, it also has MIL-STD 810G certification.

Powering the LG G6 is a non-removable 3,300mAh battery which supports QuickCharge 3.0 via USB Type-C. The LG G6 is available in Black and Platinum colours and it comes bundled with a Free Folio case. Although the listed price is RM2,599, you probably can find one below RM2,500 through online retailers. Would you consider the LG G6 now since it is RM400 cheaper?
