Celcom offers the OPPO A57 for free, exclusively on FIRST Postpaid

The new OPPO A57 is finally hitting Malaysia this weekend and it will be available first on Celcom. Officially priced at RM1,098, Celcom customers can get it for free on their FIRST Platinum plan.

To recap, the A57 is a compact selfie-centric smartphone with a 5.2″ HD 720p display. Under the hood, it runs on an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor that comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. If you need more space, you can expand further via microSD using the 2nd SIM slot.

Over at the front, the selfie shooter is a 16MP f/2.0 unit while the rear gets a 13MP f/2.2 camera with PDAF. It comes with a 2,900mAh battery and out of the box, it runs on ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The bundled pricing for the OPPO A57 on Celcom is as follows with a 24-month contract:

Celcom FIRST Gold Plus – RM399
Celcom FIRST Platinum – RM0

During sign up, you’ll need to place a RM800 upfront payment for FIRST Platinum or RM600 with FIRST Gold Plus. This amount will be rebated instantly to offset your future bills.

On Celcom FIRST Platinum Plan (RM150/month), you get 60GB of data (30GB all-day + 30GB weekend), unlimited calls, SMS, Wechat and WhatsApp. Meanwhile, Celcom FIRST Gold Plus (RM98/month) comes with 40GB of data (20GB all-day + 20GB weekend), unlimited calls, WeChat and WhatsApp.
