Here’s what the Galaxy S8’s camera can do

The big news this week is Samsung’s massive launch of their brand new flagship smartphone — the Galaxy S8 and S8+. Both these phones have amazing specs and groundbreaking design, but one thing which seems to have remained the same is its camera.

So, does that mean this new S8 doesn’t have a camera capable of mixing it with the big boys of 2017? Well, I’ll leave that to you to decide.

Before I show you sample images, here’s a little spec sheet rundown of the Galaxy S8’s camera:

12-megapixel Dual Pixel primary camera
f/1.7 aperture lens
Added “software tweaks” to improve output

Now, on with the photos! Feel free to click on each image to view the full resolution.

For us, it seems like not that much has changed from the Galaxy S7 edge’s camera. It’s still a solid performer and looks to be an excellent smartphone camera in 2017. But what do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below!
