You can pre-order the Redmi Note 4 in Matte Black from Senheng

The Redmi Note 4 is now available for pre-order from Mi Malaysia’s official online store. If gold isn’t your colour of choice, here’s your chance to secure yourself the matte black version of the Redmi Note 4.

Retailer Senheng is also offering pre-orders for Xiaomi’s new affordable phablet and they have both Gold and Matte Black versions. Priced at RM799, the hardware specs are the same with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage.

To refresh your memory, the Redmi Note 4 is a 5.5″ smartphone that does full HD resolution encased in a metal unibody design. It runs on a 14nm Snapdragon 625 processor which is supposedly more frugal than the Snapdragon 650 unit that powered the former Redmi Note 3. It gets a 13MP f/2.0 main camera with PDAF while the front sports a 5MP f/2.0 selfie shooter.

The Redmi Note 4 is also a dual-SIM 4G phone with a hybrid sim tray design that accepts microSD expansion. It also comes with a fingerprint sensor, infrared blaster and a large 4,100mAh battery. While pre-order have started this week, stocks of the Redmi Note 4 will be officially available in Malaysia on 16 March 2017.
