The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge were supposedly said to get its Android Nougat update by the end of February. It’s almost mid-March, and there is still no sign of it.
If you’ve been wondering why, here’s what Samsung UK had to say about the issue.
According to Samsung UK’s twitter, the update has been delayed because the company needs to further “review its quality”. It looks like something is not right with Android Nougat on the S6 family, thus more work needs to be done. Samsung said they are unable to confirm when the update will be ready but did mention that it’ll be “made available at the earliest opportunity”.
At this point we’re not sure if this affects Malaysian devices either as Samsung UK’s tweets have not mentioned anything about region. Wonder what “quality” issues the new software is having with their older flagships. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
