You can buy the OnePlus 3T in Malaysia

UPDATE: Official OnePlus 3T Malaysian stocks are now available. Priced at RM2,229. More details here.

The latest OnePlus 3T is now available in Malaysia. If you’re looking for a dependable flagship that has top notch specs and stock-like UI without breaking the bank, this could be the device for you.

There are two versions of the OnePlus 3T being offered with the China unit (A3010) going for RM2,299 while the International unit (A3003) is going for RM2,499. Specs are pretty much the same except for the radio bands where the China version gets TD-SCDMA and CDMA EVDO support. Both variants support FDD-LTE Band 3,5,7 and TDD-LTE 38/40.

Take note that these are the import versions which are brought in by DirectD. Only 64GB of storage is being offered and it is offered with its new Gunmetal colour. The Chinese unit runs on Hydrogen OS 2.5 while the international version runs on OxygenOS 3.5.

To recap, the OnePlus 3T is a tock upgrade of the already impressive OnePlus 3. It gets updated with a faster 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 processor with 6GB RAM and has storage options of 64GB and 128GB. The front retains the same 5.5″ Full HD Optical OLED display and for imaging, both front and back gets 16MP f/2.0 cameras.

The OnePlus 3T also gets a bigger battery jumping from 3,000mAh to 3,400mAh in capacity while maintaining the same weight and thickness as before. It also supports DASH fast charging via USB 2.0 Type-C. Out of the box, it still runs on Marshmallow but Android 7.0 Nougat expected to be pushed out in the coming weeks.

With the new hardware upgrade, the OnePlus 3T costs more than the OnePlus 3. In the US, it is priced at US$439 (about RM1,950) while in China, it is going for 2699CNY (about RM1,732). If you’re interested, head to DirectD’s OnePlus 3T page.
