Maxis is collaborating with Expedia in offering free data roaming passes for its postpaid customers. Just book a hotel room on Expedia to enjoy Free 1-day Maxis roaming pass worth RM38 with your trip.
To redeem your 1-day data roaming pass from Expedia is simple. Just place a hotel booking through this link and make sure you enter your Maxis mobile number with your booking. Once you’ve reached your destination, turn on data roaming to enjoy your 1-day free data roaming pass within your hotel stay period.
For those on MaxisONE postpaid plan, you get to enjoy the MaxisONE World Pass which gives you unlimited calls, unlimited SMS and additional 500MB of data. Once you’ve finished your 500MB of quota, you still can enjoy high speeds using your home quota. Take note that MaxisONE World is currently available in Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei, Philippines, Cambodia and Laos. For other countries and non-MaxisONE postpaid users, you’ll get the standard DataRoam pass which gives you 500MB of high-speed data per day.
During the promotion, you are entitled to 1-day free roaming pass per hotel booking and you can only redeem 1 pass if you’ve made multiple hotel bookings on the same travel period in the same city. However, if you’re travelling through multiple cities, you can redeem 1-day pass for each hotel booking you’ve made in each respective location.
Take note that the daily data roaming period ends at 11:59PM local time of your destination and it is only offered at countries where data roaming pass is available. This promotional offer is valid until 30 November 2017.
