Huzzah! The trio is almost back! I am, of course, referring to the highly (and I mean highly) anticipated motoring show set to hit Amazon Prime Video on the 18th of November. Yep, it’s The Grand Tour!
And there’s more good news. If Amazon Prime Video isn’t in your country, the show will also be streamed exclusively on Amazon in December to over 200 countries worldwide.
After the catastrophic disaster that is Chris Evans’ Top Gear reboot (seriously, I’ll save you a click: Don’t watch that if you’re a Top Gear fan) which eventually led to the popular radio DJ leaving the show, a large gap has opened up in the hearts of motoring enthusiasts worldwide for a quality car show. The Grand Tour is supposed to fix that.
For those who don’t follow, The Grand Tour is the brainchild of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, alongside former Top Gear producer Andy Wilman after the trio and Andy left wildly popular TV motoring show Top Gear.
There was a lot of controversy surrounding why they left, but I won’t get into that here. What is important is that everything — from the trailers, sneak peaks, hints and hype videos — that we’ve seen so far from The Grand Tour has looked amazing. While that sounds fantastic, the hype is also quite dangerous because the show has a lot to live up to now.
Either way, I’m looking forward to The Grand Tour and I’m really glad that they’re going to stream it in over 200 countries around the world, even if it’s a month late. If, however, you’re someone who lives in either the US, UK, Germany and Japan, the series will be premiering at 12.01am GMT on the 18th of November. There will be 12 episodes in total that will be broadcasted over 12 weeks.
That said, we don’t know much of anything about the pricing for the global streaming of The Grand Tour but SEENIT says that the details will be confirmed in the coming weeks. For more information, check out their Facebook page, Twitter or sign up for a newsletter.
In the meantime, watch the trailer!

Popular navigation app Waze also has a new voice pack featuring the trio so be sure to check them out if you want to be directed by the velvety voice of Captain Slow and the gang.
