Alongside the offerings from Maxis, Digi, U Mobile and Celcom, Yes 4G has also revealed their Samsung Galaxy Note7 bundle. What’s different is that in addition to the postpaid bundles in Malaysia, Yes 4G is also offering just the device itself with no contract plus a bunch of goodies and a discount.
However, there is a slight catch.
Yes will let you buy the Samsung Galaxy Note7 from them outright without being tied to any of their bundles. The telco is also throwing in a 10,200 mAh battery pack, a Wireless Charger Stand, a travel adapter and a 10% discount off the retail price of RM3,199, bringing the cost of the device down to RM2,880. On top of that, Yes will also be bundling a Yes 4G prepaid SIM that comes with 30GB of 4G LTE data, 200 minutes of off-net calls, 200 off-net SMS and unlimited on-net calls and SMS that’s valid for two months.
It’s definitely a good deal as you’re getting pretty much all the free gifts that the other pre-orders are offering, including collection of the device on the 18th of August, plus a Yes 4G prepaid SIM. The only issue is that this pre-order promotion is only available for today (the 10th of August 2016). If you missed out on Samsung Malaysia’s own pre-order sale, this looks like the next best thing. Head on over to the Yes Online Store for more information.
Besides the one-day-only promo, Yes also has their very own postpaid bundles. You can pick up the Galaxy Note7 with either the Postpaid 88 plan or the Postpaid 128 plan. With the Postpaid 128 plan, you can purchase the Galaxy Note7 for RM1,508.49. However, you will also have to pay an upfront payment of RM724.53, bringing the total amount due on the day of purchase to RM2,233.02 (excl GST). On the other hand, the Postpaid 88 plan will let you purchase the device for RM1,885.84 plus a device upfront payment of RM498.11, bringing the total to RM2,383.95 (excl GST).
The bundles come with a 24-month contract and the upfront payment will be rebated over that same period. If you choose to get the bundle, Yes will waive the standard plan advance payment and activation fee as stated in their terms and conditions. These pre-order bundles will also include the free 10,200 mAh battery pack, Wireless Charger Stand and Travel Adapter plus collection of the device one day before it officially launches on the 19th of August 2016.
