OPPO launches the third Selfie Expert in Malaysia — the OPPO F1s

OPPO’s Selfie Expert F1 series of smartphones are designed with the selfie generation in mind. Today, the company launched its third Selfie Expert in Malaysia, the OPPO F1s.

This new smartphone from OPPO sports most of the features you’d come to expect from the selfie expert lineup. It’s got a 16-megapixel front-facing camera on the front with a 1/3.1-inch sensor and a fast f/2.0 aperture. However, the new F1s is missing a front-facing LED flash for those crucial low-light selfies. That said, you will find OPPO’s Beautify 4.0 feature on it which is designed to let you take the best selfies possible. At the back, you’ll find a 13MP camera that’s capable of shooting full HD 1080p videos.

Other specifications include a 5.5-inch HD IPS display (720p), a Mediatek MT6750 octa-core chip clocked at 1.5GHz, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Should you need more storage, the memory is expandable via a dedicated microSD card (up to 128GB) slot along with the support for dual-SIMs. The F1s also packs a front-mounted fingerprint sensor that’s tucked under the physical home button. Like the OPPO F1 Plus, the fingerprint sensor is lightning quick and it’s easy to set up.

The F1s is built pretty solidly with a nice metal feel and relatively thin profile. Encased in the metal body is a 3,075 mAh battery that’s non-removable and does not support OPPO’s VOOC Flash Charge fast-charging technology.

Should you be interested, the OPPO F1s is priced at RM1,198 and it is available for pre-order from now until 19th August 2016. It will be available at OPPO Malaysia’s online store and all authorised OPPO retailers beginning 20th August 2016. OPPO will also include a selfie stick for each pre-order of their latest selfie expert.

In addition, when you pre-order the OPPO device you will be in the running for an “Artist Delivery”. As the name suggests, you will get to choose from a selection of artists and stand a chance to have your chosen artist deliver the F1s to you personally. For more information, head on over here.
