Sony Xperia XA Ultra is now on sale in Malaysia

Sony’s selfie phablet, the Xperia XA Ultra is now finally available in Malaysia. It was announced locally last month alongside the rest of the Xperia X series including the Xperia XA.

Priced at RM1,699, the Xperia XA Ultra offers a massive 6.0″ Full HD display but it feels smaller thanks to its bezel-less design like its smaller XA model. It runs on a MediaTek Helio P10 processor like the Xperia XA but it gets a bump with 3GB of RAM while maintaining 16GB of expandable storage on-board.

The back of the Xperia XA Ultra has a 21.5″ Exmor RS camera with hybrid auto focus while selfies are taken with a large 16MP front shooter that has OIS. Keeping the lights on is a 2,700mAh battery which Sony claims to push up to 2 days of use on a single charge.

A couple of online retailers including DirectD and SuperBuy are already offering the device with official Sony Malaysia warranty. You can read up more about the Xperia XA Ultra in our first impressions.
