Extend your device’s warranty with Samsung Smart Warranty

Are you constantly worried about your Samsung smartphone and if it will suddenly up and die after the warranty is up? If that keeps you up at night, Samsung’s going to put those demons to rest with their new Samsung Smart Warranty extended warranty package.

Samsung Malaysia is now letting you extend your regular warranty by 1 year and all you need to do is purchase the Smart Warranty. With this plan, Samsung will provide service to any defective Samsung smartphone subject to their terms and conditions.

Keep in mind that this warranty only covers certain mechanical and technical issues so there is no coverage for accidental damage or broken screens. This is also a warranty extension, which means that you are only eligible to purchase this Smart Warranty while your device’s existing standard warranty is active.

The Samsung Smart Warranty will cost either RM49 or RM99 depending on your device and can be purchased at selected Samsung Express Service Centres nationwide. For more information, you can head on over to their website. The devices covered includes smartphones like the new Galaxy S7/S7 edge, the Note5, the Galaxy S6 series as well as several tablets. For a full list of supported devices and cost, check out the Smart Warranty’s FAQ page.
