Originally running by the codename Lavender, the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra “selfie phone” has been spotted via a leaked manual for said device. Previously we’ve seen a few photos of the phone and now its confirmed that the phone indeed will have bezel-less sides much like the Sharp AQUOS Crystal 2.
Thus far, the manual confirms a 13 megapixel rear snapper, 2GB RAM as well as 16GB expandable storage with a microSD slot with nano SIM. The front camera is also rumoured to be a 13 megapixel shooter but is confirmed to have a front facing flash. Aside from that, the screen size is expected to be larger than 5.5 inches with a 1080p resolution and have a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 under the hood.
There will also be two variants of the same device, with the model numbers E5506 and E5553. We don’t know yet how they could be different but its possible that they might have different storage capacities or camera options. No word yet exactly when the device will be launched but sources say that it will be relatively soon.
