Alongside its new Honor 7 smart phone, Huawei has also announced a new smart watch that’s called the Honor Band Zero. In terms of design, it gets a simple round look with a brushed metal frame attached to several strap options. Don’t expect anything fancy out of it though. There are no buttons and the round display is a monochrome unit, unlike the high resolution display that’s used on their premium Huawei Watch.
It gets IP68 rated water resistance which allows you to submerge it under 10 metres of water. Functionality wise, it is pretty much the same as the TalkBand series with basic notification, pedometer and sleep tracking. On a single charge, the Honor Band Zero could last up to 4 days.
The Honor Band Zero will be available in 3 colour options – white, black and beige and it is expected to be released in August. So far there’s no price details yet and we reckon it shouldn’t be around the same or less than the TalkBand B2 which is currently priced from RM558.
