You can sign up for Digi’s RM36 3GB postpaid plan online

Just recently Digi had quietly introduced a special promo for its lower commitment Smart Plans, where you can get 3GB of data, 100 minutes of calls and 100 SMS each month for only RM36. Initially offered for a limited time at on-ground stores, Digi has published the offer on their website and you can now subscribe to the plan hassle free from their online store.

To recap, the new promo offer is basically an extra rebate on its current SmartPlan 50 and SmartPlan 78 High Data plans and they have thrown in additional 1GB for free. If the RM36 postpaid plan is not enough, you can consider its RM66/month offer with 4GB of data along with 200 minutes of calls and 200 SMS. This is seen as a counter-plan for Celcom’s RM38 First Basic 38 offering.

However do note that this is only applicable for the first 12 months, which consists of RM14/month discount for SmartPlan 50 and RM12/month off for SmartPlan 78. So far there’s no mention whether the extra 1GB offer would be extended after the 12 month promo period.

This promotion is only valid if you sign up from now until 15th July and it comes with no contracts. According to the T&C, it is applicable to new Digi subscribers including port-ins (MNP) and current users who are on Smart Plan 50 and Smart Plan 78.

For more info, head over to Digi’s Smart Plan 50/78 limited promo page.
