Looking very tankish and tough, images of what is very likely the Samsung Galaxy S6 active have surfaced thanks to an anonymous tipster.
The smartphone is likely to have the same specs as the Samsung Galaxy S6, with the smartphone likely to go by the model number SM-G890A. Specs include a 5.1 inch QHD Super AMOLED screen, Exynos 7420 processor, humongous 3,500mAh battery and a 16 megapixel rear camera with a 5 megapixel front camera.
It’s looking quite likely that the S6 Active won’t have a fingerprint scanner because of it’s chunky buttons but the previous version of the Active didn’t have the feature either so it’s no surprise. The heart rate monitor and camera are positioned similarly to the regular Galaxy S6 but the loudspeaker has been re-positioned to it’s rear.
The phone practically looks ready to hit the market but there hasn’t been official word of a release date as of yet.
