Honor’s new powerbank looks like a crossbreed between Xiaomi and ASUS

Smart phones now are getting better in battery life but manufacturers are still cashing in on the strong demand for affordable power banks. Following the popularity of Xiaomi powerbanks and the entry of a similar looking ASUS ZenPower, Honor has released a new 13,000mAh power bank which looks awfully familiar.

It shares the similar aluminium body look of a Mi Power Bank and comes with the squarish cigarette pack shape of the ASUS ZenPower. Even the 13,000mAh label underneath looks identical as well.

Over at the top, it also gets a power/status button with 4 indicator LEDs and it comes with not one but 2 USB output that charges at 5V/2Amps. In China, the Honor 13,000mAh Power Bank costs 135 CNY, which is about RM78. For the same price, you can get the much larger 16,000mAh Mi Power Bank which also comes with dual USB output. At least, it is cheaper than their current Ultra-Slim 4,800mAh Power Bank that’s being sold at RM148 locally.
