Maxis and Hotlink offer 3 months Free Spotify Premium with no data charges

If you haven’t signed up with Spotify’s ad-free Premium music service, Maxis and Hotlink prepaid are offering it for free with unlimited streaming. This allows you to enjoy music to your heart’s content between 30th April until 31st July 2015.

To enable this, you would need to be on a monthly data plan of at least 1GB/month on either Maxis postpaid or Hotlink prepaid plans. Activation is done only via myMaxis or Hotlink’s Red app by clicking on the Spotify #MusicNow banner. The official apps are available only for Android and iOS, so sorry to Windows Phone users.

According to the T&C, the free unlimited streaming is only applicable to 128Kbps which is probably its standard streaming quality. For existing Spotify premium account holders, you would need to deactivate your current subscription and resubscribe via the Maxis. If you’re currently taking up the Maxis Spotify Premium offering of RM10/month with free 150MB data, you are qualified for this offer as long as you have a monthly mobile plan at least 1GB. Just take note that the offer only takes effect if you’ve activated through the official Maxis/Hotlink app and they will send a confirmation SMS to confirm your subscription.

For more info, head over to the Spotify #MusicNow promo on Maxis and Hotlink pages.
