The long awaited OnePlus One is going on sale in Malaysia starting tomorrow with Maxis as their exclusive telco partner. For Malaysia, we are getting its higher capacity 64GB model in Sandstone Black which is priced outright at RM1,199 (exclusive of GST). With MaxisOne Plan (+1GB) contract, the One can be yours at RM859 with 24 months duration. It will be available at all Maxis Stores, and this is probably the first time the OnePlus One is sold officially offline.

In terms of contract bundle, the One is tied to a MaxisOne Plan with a bolt-on 1GB option at RM158/month. However as a special promo, the bolt-on RM30/GB is waived for the first year, so you’ll just pay RM128/month for the first 12 months. As an added bonus, those who subscribe before 28th April will get an extra 1GB (for the 1st 6 months), giving you a total of 4GB per month.

On top of the standard 1 year limited warranty, Maxis will be offering a 1 to 1 device swap for the first 1 month until the end of May at all Maxis Centres. So far Maxis didn’t indicate that the OnePlus One would be available outright but earlier on OnePlus One mentions that potential buyers would be able to do so at their stores.

UPDATE: In a new forum post, OnePlus has updated that the OnePlus One 64GB will be available unlocked without contract at RM1,199. You can purchase it either online at Maxis.com.my or at Maxis Stores nationwide. They added that OnePlus accessories will be sold at Maxis Centres and if you mention the password “Never Settle”, they will throw in an extra free screen protector with your purchase.

UPDATE 2: You can also buy the OnePlus One outright without contract on Maxis Online Store.
