Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge goes on sale in Malaysia. All you need to know here.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge were launched in Malaysia earlier this month and they are now officially available starting today 17th April 2015. To recap on the price, both flagships are going for RM2,599 for the standard S6 while the double curved display Galaxy S6 edge is priced at RM3,099. In Malaysia, both Galaxy S6 and S6 edge comes with 32GB of on-board storage, which isn’t expandable.

Probably for the first time for a Samsung flagship smart phone in Malaysia, they are also offering a personalised pick up service with a 24 hours dedicated toll free number. So if you have any problems with your device, they can come to your home or office to collect your device as an added convenience.

In terms of availability, the big 3 telcos, Celcom, Digi and Maxis have ran pre-orders and most recently Yes, the 4G WiMAX operator is offering the Galaxy S6 as well. You can also get it from authorised Samsung retail outlets including SenHeng. For today’s official availability day, Samsung Malaysia is having a consumer launch event at their outlet in The Gardens Mall at MidValley. The first 30 in line will get an exclusive autographed badminton racquet by Dato Lee Chong Wei. Samsung Malaysia is also offering the Wireless Charger for RM49.90 at selected outlets while stocks last.
