Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge available in Malaysian stores April 17

The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will be officially announced in Malaysia today but if you’re planning to get one, you might have to wait a little longer because the devices will only go on sale here from April 17, over a week after the official launch, according to information made available during a Samsung presentation in Singapore.

If you want to get ahead of the line, pre-order options are available from Maxis and or directly from Samsung here. Pre-orders guarantee you get the device the day it goes on sale in Malaysia with a few goodies thrown in (eg. pre-order from Maxis and get a wireless charging mat and a screen protector together worth RM280 for free).

The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge may very well be the best devices Samsung has ever produced with the best display, best memory and best processor you can get in a smartphone at the moment, but the ultra-high end specification, top-notch design and quality build materials is going to cost you. Expect the S6 to retail for about RM2,599 while the Galaxy S6 Edge with its exotic dual-curved Edge screen and an expected price of RM3,099, is set to be among the most expensive smartphone you can get from Samsung!

In any case, we will be at the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge official launch to give you confirmation on pricing availability and more, so make sure you keep it locked on SoyaCincau.com. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for additional updates.
