Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and S6 edge aren’t waterproof as most of us know, but Keaton Keller from TechSmartt wanted to find out just how long can it hold up to water exposure, and the results are surprising.
The phone was left sitting in a bowl full of water for over 20 minutes and it’s pretty clear that the water had gotten inside the device but it was still functioning fine, though it got stuck in a boot loop. This means that while you shouldn’t be taking your smartphone with you on a swim, it’s robust enough to handle water exposure on normal use and the odd spill.
