ZTE Nubia Z9 Max and Z9 mini get official

ZTE’s Nubia Z9 Max and Z9 mini variant are finally official, with the brand pulling off the same trick it did with their previous flagships at launch.

The Nubia Z9 Max is a 5.5″ 1080p handset sporting a Snapdragon 810 chipset, 3GB memory as well as 16GB expandable storage off the bat. Out back you’ll find a 16MP rear camera as well as a 8MP front snapper. ZTE is also throwing in 7.1 channel surround thanks to a premium AK4375 sound processor and the whole lot is powered by a 2900 mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 with nubia UI V2.8. The whole lot is stuffed into a premium looking titanium frame with an aluminum alloy casing with a reinforced patterned glass on the back.

The Z9 mini on the other hand is a 5″ 1080p screen with a Snapdragon 615 chipset, 2GB RAM and the same 16GB expandable storage and camera combo as the Z9 Max. It also features a titanium frame as well as the same 2,900 mAh battery.

The Z9 mini does have a little extra icing on it’s cake, coming with a bunch of swappable back covers with different textures and patterns, including wood and denim.
Both the devices will have dual SIM capabilities and will be available in black and white glass for the Nubia Z9 Max and any texture you slap on for the Z9 mini.

No word on availability yet but in terms of pricing the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max will be going for CNY 2,499 (about RM 1,497) and CNY 1,499 (RM 898) for the Z9 mini.
