Apart from DiGi and Maxis, Celcom too is offering the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, which comes with a curved display. Retailing at RM2,999, Celcom is offering it from as low as RM1,738 with its new First by Celcom postpaid plans.

There are 3 options available that are tied to 24 months duration:

Celcom First (RM85/month) – RM2,388
Celcom First + Max Up All (RM135/month) – RM2,188
Celcom First Elite (RM235/month) – RM1,738

During sign up, you’ll need to pay an advance payment fee between RM350-RM1,000 depending on plan. To learn more about Celcom’s new First postpaid plans with Optimiser, you can refer to our earlier post over here.

To recap on the specs, the Galaxy Note Edge is a display technology showcase based on the Galaxy Note 4. It gets a curved display that flows onto the right side, offering a dedicated panel for shortcuts, notification and information stream. The display is a 5.6 incher with a Quad HD resolution of 2,560×1,600 and it runs on a 2.7GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of RAM.

On-board there’s 32GB of storage with a microSD expansion slot and it also gets a 16MP OIS main + 3.7MP front camera combination like the Galaxy Note 4. The battery is a removable 3,000mAh capacity unit and it also supports adaptive fast charging that does 0-50% in 30 minutes.
