Does the Galaxy S6 really look like the iPhone 6?

“iPhone 6 copy”, that’s a fairly popular way many will describe the Galaxy S6 but is it really an iPhone copy?

Samsung has a come a long way from its “challenger brand” position to become one of the biggest brands in mobile in the world. While the design similarities of earlier Galaxy S models with Apple’s iPhones are clearly evident, the Galaxy S6 can never be confused for an iPhone 6 — at least I don’t think so.

Samsung is working very hard to break the stigma of being a copycat brand, a brand that lacks ideas, one that is void of any creativity or purpose other than to blatantly copy its competitors and make tons of money from copycat products but can you really say that the Galaxy S6 is an iPhone 6 copy?.

To be honest, I fail to see where the similarities are. Some say that the Galaxy S6’s metal frame is similar to the iPhone 6 but that’s like saying, any car with four wheels is a blatant copy of the Model T Ford. The point I’m trying to make here is that, when you have such a short time to develop products, paths are going to cross and you will have elements that look similar or seem to look similar. I’m not trying to make a case for Samsung, but I fail to see where they copy is happening or am I not perceptive enough?

Let me know what you think. Is the Galaxy S6 an iPhone 6 copy or not?
