BlackBerry is now rolling out its latest 10.3.1 software update to current BlackBerry 10 devices. This includes its older BlackBerry Z10, Z3, Z30, Q5, Q10, Porsche Design P’9983 and the latest BlackBerry Passport.
The latest update which came installed on the BlackBerry Classic will bring a host of new improvements including BlackBerry Blend, BlackBerry Assistant and a couple of enhancements for its native apps such as BlackBerry Hub, Calendar, Camera and more. With the latest version, the Amazon Appstore will be installed by default and QWERTY based devices such as the Q5, Q10, P’9983 and Passport will get extra keyboard shortcuts to launch specific apps or contacts.
Meanwhile if you’re away from your BlackBerry, you can easily access your device via Blackberry Blend from any connected computer or tablet without the need of complicated VPNs. This lets you read or reply to messages remotely as if you’re on the device itself.
The update should be reaching to Malaysian units and if you haven’t received any notifications yet, you can try checking manually at Settings > Software Updates > Updates.
