Looking to stand out from the rest? The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will be officially available in Malaysia in the first week of February which is next week. The price isn’t revealed yet but do expect a premium over the current Galaxy Note 4 that’s currently priced at RM2,499. In terms of availability, the Galaxy Note Edge will be very limited and it will be sold only at Samsung Branded stores. We are told that there will be telco offers as well which will be revealed closer towards launch.
In terms of specs, the Galaxy Note Edge for Malaysia (SM-N915F) will be running on Qualcomm’s 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 processor that’s mated to 3GB of RAM and it comes with 32GB of expandable storage. The display is a 5.6″ Super AMOLED screen that pushes 2560×1600 resolution inclusive of its curved screen. It also gets a 16MP OIS main and 3.7MP front cameras like the Galaxy Note 4 and it is powered with a 3,000mAh capacity battery. Being a Note device, the S-Pen sylus also comes as standard.
The biggest highlight of course is its edge screen which functions as a shortcut or as a secondary information panel. By default, it is used for notifications and you can customise it with various panels for S-health, info stream, weather or as a night clock. Got anything you like to know about the Note Edge?
