HTC One M9 leaked with clearer photos

If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it. That’s probably’s HTC’s approach with its new One M9 (aka Hima) that’s expected to debut at MWC 2015. Following its earlier leaked photos, the folks at Phandroid have gotten themselves clearer shots of the upcoming flagship device. It confirms the design similarity with the existing HTC One M8 with an all metal unibody design.

There are some noticeable and welcomed differences on the new One M9. The power button has been shifted to the right side, towards the middle (like Sony Xperia Z series) for easier reach, while the volume rocker buttons have been shifted lower as well. Meanwhile the back gets a more squarish camera module with dual-tone LED flash but it lacks a secondary Duo Camera that was featured on last year’s model.

Spec-wise, the source mentions that it will run on Qualcomm’s Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM while the front display retains the similar 5″ screen with Full HD resolution. It will be juiced up with a slightly bigger 2,840mAh capacity battery and for imaging it will get a 20.7MP shooter at the back while selfies are taken with an Ultrapixel camera (presumably 4MP effective with 2.0 micron pixel size). Out of the box, you can count on them to run on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with a newer Sense 7.0 interface.
