Microsoft Lumia 535 Dual is heading to Malaysia very soon

The Lumia 535, which is the first Lumia device to carry the Microsoft brand is coming to Malaysia. It was recently spotted by our sharp spotting reader at our local SIRIM database. The model which we are getting is the RM-1090, which comes with dual-SIM slots supporting 3G connectivity.

The Microsoft Lumia 535 is a step up from its current entry-level Nokia Lumia 530 and it gets a couple of welcomed upgrades. The front display is much improved with a larger 5″ IPS panel that does qHD resolution of 960×540. Powering the device is the same 1.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 200 processor as before but it is better enhanced with 1GB of RAM and a larger 8GB of storage that’s expandable.

In the imaging department, the back 5MP camera offers auto-focus and now has an assisted LED flash light. Selfie shots with the front camera is now possible as they have included the same wide-angle 5MP shooter as their selfie-centric Lumia 730/735.

The battery is now bigger too with a 1,905mAh capacity unit. The Lumia 535 will be running on the latest Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 with the new Denim Update. In terms of pricing, we reckon this should be around the RM400-500 range as it is positioned above the RM355 Lumia 530 Dual-SIM.
