Xiaomi which has been in Malaysia for about 6 months now is opening its first exclusive service centre. It is located at Low Yat Plaza in Bukit Bintang, KL. This enhances its local warranty and support which they currently have 6 appointed service centres in Petaling Jaya, Penang, Ipoh, Kota Bahru, Melaka and Johor Bahru.

The new exclusive service centre should provide faster turnaround and support as it is fully dedicated to Mi products. At the moment, they have 3 smart phone models in Malaysia, the Mi 3, Redmi Note and Redmi 1S. Xiaomi has yet to announce any 4G devices locally and most recently the 4G enabled Redmi Note was just announced for Singapore market.

Hopefully they would shed some light on its upcoming products during their service centre official opening next Monday.
