Dropbox and Microsoft has announced a new partnership which enables you to use Dropbox cloud storage more seamlessly for your office documents. With this new alliance, you can now edit Microsoft Office documents directly from Dropbox and you can also edit/save your Microsoft Office files on its mobile app directly into Dropbox easily. Once you’ve done with your work, you can easily share Dropbox URL directly from the Microsoft Office app.
This new feature will be rolled out to all Dropbox users in both iOS and Android platforms in the coming weeks. This is also applicable for Dropbox for Business users worldwide. Next year, there are plans to extend this integration to the web version of Dropbox and Microsoft Office Online.
