It is now official. After Microsoft’s acquisition of Nokia which is now known as Microsoft Devices, they have now transitioned its Lumia smart phone brand under Microsoft. What used to be Nokia Lumia is now known as Microsoft Lumia and this will take effect with its future models.

Existing Lumia devices including the recently announced Nokia Lumia 830, Lumia 735 and Lumia 730 will remain unchanged and the same applies with existing Lumia devices that’s still in the market. Microsoft assures that the same Lumia experience will continue with the upcoming Microsoft branded Lumia models and existing users can still count on them for continuous support.

As mentioned during their acquisition announcement, the Nokia brand continues to live on with entry-level feature phones including the Nokia 130.
