MaxisONE Plan now offers extra internet quota for less

The MaxisONE Plan is ideal for people who talk and text a lot thanks to its unlimited voice calls and SMS proposition. It may be great for sales people or love birds, but internet centric users may find 1GB (MaxisONE Plan Lite) / 2GB (MaxisONE Plan) monthly quotas to be quite little. If you need more internet for your mobile usage, Maxis charges RM30 per GB which is quite a high price to pay.

For those who need more than 3GB a month, Maxis now offers a new data add-on which brings the extra cost per GB below RM20/month. You can now top up 3GB for RM58 or 6GB at RM116 which is equivalent to RM19.30 per GB.

To subscribe, you’ll need to activate over Maxis Hotline by dialling 123 or alternatively you can walk-in to any Maxis centres. If you don’t need additional 3GB, the standard top up options such as 200MB for RM10, 500MB for RM20 and 1GB for RM30 applies.

If the extra internet is too much for your smart phone, you can share it across additional devices at RM15/month for an extra data only SIM. This is practical for owners of 3G enabled tablets.

Recapping the plan offering, the MaxisOne Plan Lite offers unlimited calls and SMS within Maxis network for RM78/month and it comes with 1GB as standard. For the ultimate limitless call experience, the MaxisOne Plan at RM128/month covers all numbers including fixed lines and that includes 2GB of internet each month.
