UPDATE: More clues point to Apple, but we are not too sure about the 10th October date. Head after the break for the update.

UPDATE 2: Maxis #NextBigThing teaser continues. The upcoming device will be available for online orders.

UPDATE 3: iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be officially available in Malaysia on 7th November.

Remember Maxis’s NextBigThing? In its latest teaser, new clues are pointing towards a possible Apple iPhone 6 launch in Malaysia happening next Friday, on 10th October.

Tipster Dominic has pointed out that the jam next to the toaster is showing an Apple jam while the reflection of it with a knife resembles the number 10. Coincidentally the next wave for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is reported to be happening on 10th October with China joining the list of official available countries.

Another strong indication is the price of imported iPhone 6 units which can be bought from as low as RM2,399 for the 16GB version. This is very close to the usual official price for iPhones when it is launched in Malaysia. Another give away is its recent certification with SIRIM which means it will be launched in Malaysia very soon.

What do you guys think? Is it really a indicator for iPhone 6 or the next big thing is teasing the Galaxy Note 4 while taking a jab at Apple?

Thanks @wong_dominic for the tip!

UPDATE (1st October 2014)

So the next teaser is with 2 slices of bread popping up, which probably indicates 2 phones being launched at the same time. But that’s not the only hint that we’ve found.

They have sent a gift pack of Apples to one of their followers, thanking him for staying up with them for the #AppleLive event. Before signing off, they have asked him to check out their stores for the #NextBigThing. A strong link to the upcoming iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, don’t you think?

In terms of launch date, we are not too sure about the 10th of October timeline. Apple has confirmed that those in China will be able pre-order their iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on 10th October and it will be available in stores a week later on 17th October. Still there’s no mention on the full list of 3rd wave countries at the moment.

Thanks @JaronYap for the tip.
