DiGi will give you your money back if you’re not happy with its network, but…

DiGi‘s got a new network and it’s so confident with this new network that it is offering you a full refund on your advance payment within 7 days of you signing-up if you’re not happy with its network. But of course, with offers as good as this there are bound to be strings attached.

Firstly, this is applicable to new subscribers only. For those of you who’ve been with DiGi for years, this is not for you.

Secondly, this offer is only for SIM only subscriptions, if you’re on a contract, you’ll probably still have to pay the early termination fee if you want out.

Thirdly, the money back offer is only for when new subscribers choose the DiGi SmartPlan 50 or SmartPlan 78, and if you want to make use of this offer, there is only a handful of DiGi Stores that are offering it — they are in The Gardens, Sunway Pyramid, PJ SS2, BBT One Tower in Klang and Bangsar Shopping Centre (if you’re wondering, the DiGi Store Express store in IOI Mall is not one of them).

On top of that, you might want to read the following “notes” from DiGi with regards to the offer:

Only applicable to new registrations of SIM only plans – i.e. DG SmartPlan™ 50 and DG SmartPlan™ 78.
Refunds are only provided upon subscription termination within the first seven (7) days.
Credit limit within the seven (7) day period will be reduced to RM50 and will be adjusted to its default credit limit thereafter.
The money back guarantee is not applicable to port-in customers.
The money back guarantee is not valid in the following instances:
Subscriber has made IDD or International Roaming calls within seven (7) days.
Subscriber requests to port out in less than seven (7) days.

The money back guarantee is a nice gesture from DiGi but looking at the terms and conditions, we can’t help but feel that the intention is much less sincere.
