Xiaomi Redmi Note available on Celcom First One Plan

If you want to get a Redmi Note on contract with lower monthly commitments, Celcom is now bundling it with their Celcom First One Plan. Retailing at RM509, the 5.5″ Redmi Note can be yours from as low as RM38. On Celcom First One Plan, you’ll get 3GB of data at RM68/month while the 5GB would costs RM88/month. Also included is 60 minutes of voice calls and 60 SMS as well.

The bundled pricing are as follows:

Celcom First One Plan (3GB) – RM188
Celcom First One Plan (5GB) – RM38

At time of sign up, Celcom is requiring RM400 and RM600 as advance payment for the 3GB and 5GB plan respectively. The advance payment will be rebated back to your bill across 10 months. The Redmi Note is tied with 24 months contract duration.

To recap on the spes, the Redmi Note gets a 5.5″ HD 720p display and it runs on a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of on-board storage. It also has a 13MP main camera and a front facing 5MP camera. Being a phablet device, the Redmi Note is generously juiced up with a 3,200mAh capacity battery.
