Spams and mailing list can be annoying and it adds unnecessary clutter into your inbox. Gmail has been improved tremendously and it recently has been intelligent enough to sort out your social notification and promotion emails from what that truly matters to you.
Now to take a step further, Google is making it easy to stop those unwanted mails altogether with just a couple of clicks away. In each promotional or email blast email received, there’s a new “unsubscribe” link which automatically sends a removal request upon confirmation. For some instances, the link may take you to their website where you’ll need to confirm your unsubscribe request.
The unsubscribe feature is now available but only on the desktop web version. At the moment, it isn’t available on mobile devices yet.
