Samsung Galaxy Alpha leaks again. Appears to be thinner than an iPhone

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is set to be the Korean answer to Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6. This is a showcase that Samsung is capable of a smart phone using premium materials, a step up from its fake leather and textured plastic past. As seen on the earlier Galaxy Alpha leak, it looks more upmarket with its metallic frame which uniquely protrudes out at the corners.

The fresh images came from @culeaks and they have mentioned some details of its hardware. They added that the screen is a 4.7-incher that does HD 720p resolution and it runs on a Exynos Octa-Core processor (A15) with 2GB of RAM, 12MP camera and a 1,850mAh capacity battery. When placed side by side, the Galaxy Alpha is actually thinner than the iPhone 5/5S that’s 7.6mm thick but there’s a noticeable bulge around the camera which can add more to its overall thickness.

Would you be interested in a mid-tier smart phone with premium materials? Or you rather have the fastest and newest Galaxy Note 4 even if it won’t be as premium? Check out the rest of the images with side by side comparison with the iPhone after the break.
