Uber App now available for Windows Phone devices

Uber, your personal driver on demand service is now reaching out to more users with the availability of its official Windows Phone app. Initially it was available only for iOS and Android platform. Alternatively you can order a ride using their mobile site at m.uber.com.

In Kuala Lumpur, Uber has been expanding quite rapidly and they have recently introduced UberX that offers even lower rates than taxis. The original UberBlack which offers premium rides including Camry, Accord, Teana, Audi A6 and Mercedes-Benz E-class is now on 20% off promotion from its normal rates.

The appeal of Uber is its cash-less convenience where you can just hop on and hop off and the fare will be charged directly to your credit or debit card. You can view a comparison of their rates versus budget and executive taxis over here. If you haven’t seen it yet, do check out our review of UberBlack when it first started end of last year.

For Windows Phone users, you can download the Uber App over here.
