Samsung Galaxy Alpha smart phone leaks. Metal body with mid-spec internals?

Everybody has been talking about Samsung’s upcoming premium smart phone and we’ve heard various names like the Samsung Galaxy F and most recently Samsung Galaxy Alpha. Now a collection of photos have confirmed the existence of the Galaxy Alpha and it reveals a more upmarket build. This looks quite legit as both Sammobile and tinhte.vn had acquired photos of the same model.

Initially thought as a more premium Galaxy S5, the Galaxy Alpha appears to be having a smaller 4.7″ display which leads a possibility that this is a model positioned below its current Galaxy S5 hero product. As comparison, the Galaxy S5 mini is having a 4.5″ display that does HD 720p resolution.

The screen resolution is still unknown but it could doing either a HD 720p or a Full HD 1080p resolution. From the photos, the back also comes with a heart rate sensor which is placed vertically on the left side of the camera. It also uses the same perforated design but the dots are much more finer on this new model. Faster 4G LTE-A support is seen as well from its boot up sequence.

With Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launch around the corner, it is likely that this would be a mid-spec device as it doesn’t make sense to have 2 flagships launched around the same time. What do you guys think? Check out the rest of the photos after the break.
