BlackBerry is working on 2 new QWERTY based devices and one of them is a quirky looking BlacKBerry Passport. If you can’t get enough of this passport looking device, more details have surfaced including hands-on photos and its alleged specification.

According to CrackBerry’s source, the BlackBerry Passport is getting a high resolution 1440×1440 LCD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a larger unremovable 3,450mAh capacity battery. The weight is said to be around 6 ounces (about 170 grams)

Towards the back, the top portion is removable revealing its SIM and microSD expansion slot. With the BlackBerry Passport compared side by side with an iPhone, it does look quite wide which reminds us of the LG Vu with it squarish shape. If you’re a hardcore BB fan, would you find such passport form factor appealing?
