Motorola will be introducing its new Moto E which is an even more affordable smart phone than its current popular Moto G. Now its official pictures and specs have been revealed ahead of its May 13 launch through a Brazilian online retailer.
The Moto E will be having a smaller 4.3″ display that’s toughen with Gorilla Glass and runs on a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM. There’s no mention of its screen resolution but it is likely to be at least qHD (960×540). Unlike the Moto G and Moto X, the budget friendly Moto E is listed with a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB. Well it has to be, considering there’s only 4GB of storage on-board.
The rear comes with a 5MP camera which shoots video up to 480p resolution. The Moto E is 12.3mm thick and weighs 140 grams which is slightly thicker but lighter than the Moto G. The battery is a 1,980mAh unit which should be able to last a whole day thanks to its frugal processor and it runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.. 3 colours will be available – Black, Turquoise and Lemon yellow.
