Oppo Find 7 launching in Malaysia on May 7th

The Oppo Find 7 is finally launching in Malaysia. The event is happening on May 7th which is a week before its low-spec Find 7a model is officially available.

To recap, the Oppo Find 7 is a high-end smart phone which comes with a 5.5″ Quad HD (2560×1440) display and runs on the latest Quad-Core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor with 3GB of RAM. It also gets 32GB of on-board storage with microSD expansion slot. Powering the device is a generous 3,000mAh battery with VOOC Rapid Charge that allows instant charging to 75% within 30 minutes. It gets a 13MP Camera using Sony’s Sensor which is capable of producing resampled image up to 50MP.

Accompanying the Find 7 is a lower spec Find 7a. The internals are a notch down with a 5.5″ Full HD (1920×1080) display, a Quad-Core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM. The on-board storage is smaller with 16GB and so is the on-board battery which is slightly smaller at 2,800mAh capacity.

In terms of price, the Find 7a is RM1,598 while its higher spec Find 7 is still unknown. In China, the Find 7a is priced at 2998 Chinese Yuan (about RM1,585) and the Find 7 at 3498 Chinese Yuan (about RM1,850).
