Like last year’s HTC One series, the Taiwanese smart phone maker is expected to release multiple variants of the current HTC One M8. Now a new blurry leaked image from EvLeaks has appeared which claims to be the HTC M8 Ace. The image doesn’t really tell much of its size or specs but this might be the larger version of the current M8.

When the HTC One M8 was announced, EvLeaks had tweeted 2 more potential One variants – M8 Ace and M8 mini that will be coming from HTC’s camp. It is likely that the additional models would be having a similar design with different sizes. As smart phone makers are eyeing for 2 flagship device launches per year, HTC could be packing a higher spec model for the second half of this year.

When the 5.9″ HTC One Max was released last year, it carried over the same 1.7GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 600 processor and 2GB of RAM as its smaller 4.7″ HTC One. At a high launch price of RM2,499, the One Max was underspec’ed and overpriced next to the Galaxy Note 3 and Xperia Z1 that was launched around the same time. Hopefully the next phablet from HTC would be something more compelling if they plan to come back in a big way.
