U Mobile appoints new CEO, CMO and CSO

U Mobile today has announced the appointment of Wong Heang Tuck as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) which took effect on 1st April 2014. It’s Director of Marketing, Jasmine Lee now holds the position of Chief Marketing Office (CMO) while Director of Sales Alex Tan is now the Chief Sales Office (CSO). Both CMO and CSO appointments were effective on 1st January 2014.

Wong Heang Tuck joined U Mobile as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in July 2013 and was later appointed as the Acting CEO on September 2013. Some of his past experience includes being a CFO of WBL Corporation Limited of Singapore, KS Energy Limited and PT Indosat in Indonesia.

Meanwhile CMO Jasmine Lee was formerly the Commercial Director of AirAsia Berhad. She was also the co-founder and CEO of MNC Wireless Berhad and a Senior Corporate Branding Manager at DiGi. Alex Tan who now heads up sales has vast sales and management experience in companies such as Fuji Xerox, Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank and DiGi.
