Despite having a plastic body, the Galaxy S5 appears to be a durable smart phone. We have seen a couple of drop tests where it survives pretty well including one that gets run over by an SUV.

So far the weakest point is the rear camera where its 16MP shooter lens protrudes out from its perforated back cover. Other than a few scuffs and deformations at the sides, the Galaxy S5 appears to be working fine after being dropped from the pant pocket and head level.

If you’re still unconvinced, the folks at iCrackUriDevice had another go by torturing the Galaxy S5 with yet another series of drop tests. They even added a Tesla S drive-over test for good measure and the device still survives. Watch the video after the break.
