HTC introduces Dot View cover for the One (M8)

To go along with the One (M8), HTC has created the Dot View case.

The perforated Dot View case combined with the full HD display of the One (M8) give users a dot-matrix view of status updates like incoming calls and text messages, time and weather without the need to open to cover. You can also tap on the cover to get a quick status update on calls of text messages that you might have missed.

The Dot View case is cool in retro kind of way but its a pity that the cheap rubbery construction disguises how wonderfully well-build the One (M8) is. Also, it would be good if HTC could incorporate a battery battery pack into the case like the Power Flip case HTC created for the One Max
